Ok, so I made this makeup tutorial during summertime this year for experimentation. I followed the Vivi directions and modified it some. My first tutorial and YouTube vid. I wanted to play around with iMovie and this was the end result. I know it looks really simple, but it took a lot of time and effort. I'm going to post it for comments/feedback, but I'll probably take it down soon. This is sort of scary. :X

Free Stuff! 09/29/2008

Today was a looooooong day. After school, I went straight to downtown and set up a Chase account. Then I shopped at Express and got three things, a shirt, pants, and skirt. Then I met my sister to get some cash and give her a check. I also went to Jewel Osco and got a yummy 12 grain bagel. Got home and did laundry and worked out. When I went to the basement for laundry, I found a "Free Stuff" bag. It had a big coffee machine, waffle maker, hair straightener, and an ipod plug! Just what I needed! I forgot to bring my ipod plug to Chicago. kekekekke.

I think I've become emotionless. It's funny how I have high expectations towards my students, but no/little expectations from adults.

Annoyed 09/28/2008

I don't look forward to anything anymore....

Today, I woke up feeling horribs. Shoulder and neck pain which led to me being all grouchy and stuff. But after going to the Hyde Park Children's Book Fair, I felt a lot better! The books got me so excited! I saw so many old and new favorites! I ended up getting three books for $10.00 brand new! The three books that I got was I Have a Dream foreword by Coretta Scott King, Martin's BIG Words by Doreen Rappaport, and last but not least, Stone Soup by Ann McGovern.

At the end of the book fair, my roomie and I decided to check out the Medici on 57th Bakery/Cafe. I didn't even realize it, but I purchased a loaf of their rye bread from the Hyde Park Produce Market. It's really good fresh bread! I went in there and got a Chococafe which is a milk, coffee, and cocoa concoction. It was pretty damn good. Perfect for a breezy September day. :) I was one happy girl.

So I took a pooper before showering and I didn't flush it right away. I forgot to flush it after showering and my roomie just went in there. I hope she liked the present I left for her......... LMAO

Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup of chopped napa (Chinese cabbage)
- a clove of garlic (minced)
- 1/2 medium shredded onion
- 1/2 of a block of Japanese curry (1 box of curry comes with 8 blocks, you will only need HALF of a block which is a VERY small amount!)
- 1/2 block of firm tofu (cubed into bite size pieces)
- 1 bundle of buckwheat noodle
canola oil spray (any oil will do, only used for nonstick purpose)
- 1 stalk of green onion chopped into big pieces (about an inch each)
- salt to taste

Directions:
1. Fill a pot of water with cold water and the bundle of buckwheat noodles. Bring it to a boil until noodles are soft. Rinse with cold water.
2. While waiting for the noodles to boil, in a nonstick pan over high heat, stir fry the garlic, onion shreds, and napa until napa, onion is translucent.
3. Add the tofu into the pan and stir carefully (tip: to stir tofu without breaking it into pieces, push it with your spatula towards the middle).
4. Remember to keep an eye on the noodles!
5. Add a little bit of salt and 1/4 cup of water to the pan. Break in the curry block and stir. Put a lid on the pan for a while and let is simmer in low heat.
Open the lid and stir until the curry blocks are fully melted into the mixture (make sure there's no chunks!)
6. Plop the noodles into the mixture for a few seconds and put in a bowl.
7. Scoop some of the veggie tofu mixture on top of your noodles (You'll probably have extra veggies and tofu left over).
8. Garnish with thinly sliced green onion.
9. Slurp Slurp! :)

I'm Moody Today 09/25/2008

You know what makes me moody? When people ignore you and then just want to talk to you when they feel like it. Grrr. Anyone else feel that way? And when you don't want to talk to them, it's like you're the one being weird. ARG.

Chou Yabaiz! 09/24/2008

I did something kinda crazy today.......

the things I would do for dballz..... :X

Today I went to downtown and met up with Hannah to go shopping! Yahoooooooo! Haven't gone real shopping in a long time~~~ So happy, but not enough! hahah. We didn't even get to the other half of Magnificent Mile! We went to the Water Tower and Urban and a few other places. I made the mistake of wearing my sexy new heels. It looked good, but it hurt like a bitch. Especially when we went shopping like crazy. Oh well, you gotta suffer to look good. hahaha. ;) Anyway, I only ended up getting a bottle of Shiseido's Dual Balancing Foundation (in I 20). I was lucky enough to have a super nice lady that gave me awesome samples. :D Also, when I went ot Sephora, they gave me samples of two of the new Harajuku Lover's fragrances in Music and Love. I really like those two and Lil' Angel. G and Baby, I am not too crazy about. The bottles are ridiculously cute though. I have to wear the two this week and decide which one to get. hahaha. Anyway, I love shopping. Therefore, I need to get a job. :P booooooo
