I haven't cut my hair in a long long time and I desperately needed a haircut. I don't really know any great places in Chicago, but my sis really likes Urban Roots in Chinatown. For some reason, I really do not like Chinese people cutting my hair because my hair always turns out super flat. I don't have really thick hair like most Chinese people, so it's kind of hard to find a good stylist for me that is Chinese. Yesterday, my sis asked me to pick her up from work and drive her to Urban Roots for a trim. So, I decided to get a hurrcut with her since I was so desperate for a haircut. I asked the stylist to give me more short layers on the top and thinner at the bottom. This time, I think it turned out pretty good and I wouldn't mind going back. Below is a pic of my new hurrcut :)    Little Miss Queenie is giving away Maybelline's new pulsating mascara "Pulse Perfection". It has the same idea as the Lancome one, only sold in drugstore at a fraction of the price. I've heard great and bad things about this so I really wanna win to try it for myself. Today was my 23rd bday~ :) I had a pretty chill day. I am in Michigan right now, so I get to be with my mom. I played a little bit of tennis with my cousin Karen and an old high school friend Rhea. THen my bf came over and we went to grab a little bit of sushi from Noblefish. THen my mom came home and we all ran errands together and went to Buca's for my dinner....BUT it closed in Birmingham! So we went to CPK in Somersetmall instead....I was REALLY bummed, but it turned out good~ I had fun. Rhea came too. :D THere is a new store in the mall Henri Bendel! I've never heard of this brand before but their items are SO CUTE and FUn! I love it! I wish they would open in CHicago! I need help 07/21/2009
Ok, so I am reaching a breakdown point. I USE to be fit. I USE to be motivated. I USE to care. I USE to have SO MUCH control. What happened?!?!?! I have reached almost 140 lbs I think. I'm afraid of steppin on the scale. I'm 5'2'' so that's WAY over. I worked SO hard for my previous goal weight. I was at 116. What the heck happened? Ever since I started my internship, my body just expanded. I eat just whatever i want now. I do not exercise everyday. I have no self control now. I eat when I'm not hungry. What the HECK is wrong iwth me? Every time I try to start a diet log now, it doesn't work. I hate myself. Life sucks. Worst bday ever. Bunzzzzzzzz! 07/15/2009
I made curry, hotdog, and melon pan the other day! <3 so yummmie!        For those of you who do not know, Coach recently released their new collection called Poppy.  I attended a meetmark party last night and received a few goodies. It was really cool, because Bacardi was there. Did you know that you can host your own party with Barcardi sponsoring drinks for free?! If you have at least 40 people attending your party, Barcardi will send their staff and drinks there to teach people to make mojitos for 2 hours FREE. Awesome huh? Since I registered to go, I got a free lip gloss hook-up in glow baby glow and a meetmark ring. So cute! <3 |
