I finally found a new apartment! I will move at the end of May and I am SO excited. I get to live on the 39th floor with a mega view of the lake. :D Yahoo! Pool and sundeck with 360 view of the city. Yahooo! A tiny preview of the place below! :D 

Wow, long time no blog. Last Sunday was my convocation for completing (well, almost) my student teaching internship at CPS. The convocation was held at the Union League Club which was gorg. I had a good time and we got to present our thank-you presentations with our school groups. It was a good time, but I was very disappointed when I didn't see my cooperating teacher there. She told me she would be there for sure several times and I was really looking forward to seeing her (especially when I dedicated a section of my presentation to her). Anyway, not even an email explaining why she couldn't make it. I really dislike it when people do that. Oh well.

Besides the convocation, I have been busy moving out of my apt to my sis' apt for the month of May. We are still in search of an apt and we need to find one soon! Her lease here ends at the end of May. Lolz. What should I do.... ugh

I'm back! It has been such a long time since my entire family had been together. My mom and sister took a week off to go visit my daddy in Sacramento, CA with me. On the first day, we just went shopping at the outlet by my daddy's apartment. Went to the Red Hawk Casino and got to see my dad working! He looked so cool spinning the Roulette table. The 2nd day, my mom, sister, and I headed to San Francisco for 3 days, 2 nights. The first day there, we went to SFMOMA and shopped a little. We also rode the cable car to Fisherman's Wharf, which was so scary and fun! The next day, my daddy met us up with his two friends in San Fran. We went to eat dim sum in Chinatown and then headed to Golden Gate Park, which was breathtaking! Then, we walked on the Golden Gate Bridge. Also breathtaking. After that, we went to Fisherman's Wharf for dinner! Fresh crabs, oysters, clam chowder, lobster, the whole shabam! The next day, we went shopping and went to another outlet by San Fran where I got a Mac lipstick for 10 bucks! I also got a coach wallet :D yahoooo. I'm going to give it away as a present tho. Then we went back to Sacramento and had a BIG chinese dinner with a bunch of my daddy's friends. It was AMAZING! After dinner, we went back to his apartment to play Wii on his new flat screen! so funny to watch my dad and his friends play. Overall great trip but I didnt exercise for 5 days...... got to lose weight....everyone said i gained weight..... (T_T) wahhhhhh

It's FINALLY spring break for me (well, still have a shitload to do...) and I'm going to Sacremento and San Francisco to visit my dad! I have never been to California before and I'm sooooo excited to be out of the cold in Chicago. What I'm ever more excited about is going SHOPPING in Japantown and eating yummy foods. HEHEHE. If anyone has recommendations on where to go to buy Japanese beauty products at decent prices, please let me know! Shanks! :D

I haven't been updating as much due to my super sickness (high fever and cold for FIVE days!). Also, I've been MEGA busy with teaching. I started taking on the entire day and all subjects by myself this week. I gotta say.... I'm LOVING it! It IS stressful when the kids don't listen, but it's sooo rewarding when I see them excited about a lesson I created. :D

On Saturday, for work, I tried out Fuz's Gossip Girl hair by following her youtube tutorial. hehe. My hair is too short and I used a straightening iron. It kinda looks funky on the back, but it was so fun and my boss said I was "kawaii". LOLZ. Here are some pics from Saturday~ :D (Thanks Fuz!)

Today I went to Mitsuwa with my sis and miko. There was an amanatto and mitadango event! Wahahah. Of course I had to get a skewer! SOOooOOOoo delicious. The slightly sweet mochi with the salty sweet sauce is a perfect combo! Ureshiiiiiiiii~ :D (don't mind the messy hair....i do live in the windy city afterall hehehe)

One of the companys my sis collabs with invited my sis to a Roller Derby event and she was allowed to take guests...so she took me and her bf Miko! It was my VERY first time watching a live Rollllerrr Derbbyyy match! Driving there was a pain in the ass though. I experienced Chicago traffic! UGH! At least the view was gorgeous on the way there.... lol. We met at the company's studio where we were driven away by a few school buses. haha. Then we were at the Derrrby! They had poster making contests, so of course my sis and I made posters. We decided to make posters for the team called Hell's Belles cause they sounds kick-ass. My sis and I won the "most into it" award from the company. HAHA. We got a zip up hoodie and t-shirt from them. Yay. keke. After the derby, I went over my sis' apt to jam.  learned how to play two songs on the guitar! My sis is a great teacher, but mostly, she played the guitar and I sang. :) Stayed over there till 1:30 am just jamming. SO fun! Can't wait to jam with her again~ :D

Miko and I also found cute items in my sis' bag....so we decided to take it without her noticing.... kekeke I want that headbang sis!!!! So GOSSIP GIRL! Luvs it! Btw, my sis made that hat in less than 1 hour.....she is so handy crafty~ :D I requested a kitty hat with bling bling ears.....I'm waiting for it sis!!!! ;D

Happy Chinese New Year to all! This year, Chinese New Year will be Monday (tmr). It is the year of the Ox~ Moooooo~ I hope everyone will have a wonderful, prosperous, beautiful, awesome, year. :)
