Today I went to at&t to see if my cell phone is revivable (long story), but turns out I need to buy a new one. UGH. Anyway, at&t is super close to The Body Shop and it was raining really hard, so I decided to stop by just to see what's up (the sale signs were calling my name). There was actually a really good sale there....must be the recession. Anyway, they had a good selection of makeup that was "3 for $10". I was surprised at the stuff they had in this selection. It was nice quality and good colors. So I easily picked three. I ended up getting the Sparkle Eyeliner in 03 (sparkly green), Eye Lustre Pearl shadow in 02 Golden Green, and the Roseflower Blush in 01 pink. I checked out their website and they have this sale online as well, but not everything is there. Swatches and pics below! :)

The Sparkle Eyeliner: The pics do not do it justice. The color is a prettier green and really sparkly! The top swatch is of me just dabbing it with my fingers. I would dab this over eyeshadow for a cute sparkling effect!
The Eye Lustre Pearl shadow: This was kind of a disappointment. The container comes with a lil sponge applicator. The applicator is super soft but who would use that for eyeshadow?! Besides, it didn't grab much color. I ended up using a mac eyeshadow brush and swirled it vigorously and still didn't get much color. Too bad, cause the pearls look so pretty. :( I think I will use this as a highlighter.
The Roseflower Blush: I didn't swatch this yet, because I didn't want to mess up the print. HAHA. BUT, it is soooo pretty in person. The shade says pink, but it looks kinda coral with tiny shimmers. When I opened the lid, it smelt like roses! Smells really nice! :D Can't wait to try it~ :)

I ran into some great deals this week.....and got 9 pairs of shoes! LOL To justify my spending, they are mostly flats for everyday wear and for work... (-_-;;) kkkkk.... Anyway pics below. :) (last pair is a pair of Nike running shoes that hasn't come in the mail yet...)

Hello Hello, I got my Hard Candy Haul a while ago and thought I'd share with you all ( or myself) what I got. I gave my Take Out box to my sis and one gloss. The eyeshadow I got was in Peppermint and I love it as a highlighter. It's soft enough to have good pigment, but not overly soft where it gets messy and powdery. I haven't tried the lip glosses yet, because I'm still deciding if I want to give them away for Xmas presents. Isn't the packaging super cute?

Happy Thanksgiving! I am in Sterling Heights now. I came back on Tuesday night and went shopping the entire day at Somerset Mall on Wednesday. Today, I just hung out with sis at home and then went to the bf's house for Thanksgiving din din. All the food were delicious! My favorite part was of course dessert. THANK GOODNESS I exercised today. haha. It was nice to see everyone and especially dballs. I just wished we had more alone time. :P :) Nonetheless, I can't wait for shopping tmr for it is Black Friday! Yahoooooo! Anyway, Happy Shopping!

Ok ladies, there's a major sale going on at Hard Candy. 75% off EVERYTHING. No code needed. Have fun! I already stocked up. :D

Today was the much anticipated release day for the COMME des GARCON collection at H&M. Only a very few selected (and lucky) cities in the U.S. will have it. The H&M on Michigan ave in Chicago is one of them. Unfortunately, I had to do my student teaching today and could not line up early. I did go straight after school though. Got there around 4:15 ish and nothing was left except a rack of a few items. The trench coat was left surprisingly. It costs $200, but I thought people would snatch that for sure. Also the pink and black button up shirts were left as well. $50 a piece. Expensive for H&M, but reasonable for COMME des GARCON. I snatched the pink button up shirt along with a hat from H&M's DIVIDED line. It was a steal at 70% off. :D

After going to H&M, I went to bloomingdale's for their Benefit Scavenger Hunt in celebration of the release of their new fragrance b-spot. It was a waste of time. I was looking through the hosiery section and could not find it, but I did find good deals. Got a few pair of UBER kawaii Betsey Johnson socks. Yay! After paying for my socks, I asked the cashier to give me hints  but she gave me the magnify glass for the scavenger hunt! So I was all giddy and happy only to find out that I did not win anything except a "free" makeup lesson by the benefit saleswoman (like it's not free any other day....). I also go the sample of their new perfume (like I can't get that for free if I asked....). Anyway, determined to find a magnify glass with a star sticker to win the full size bottle of fragrance, I scowered a few levels only to find a bunch without the sticker. I was tired and hungry and disappointed, so I left and got Starbucks on the way home. What an overall disappointing day...

btw, b-spot did smell good, but very similar to something that is out already....can't put my finger on what it is....also their cheek stain is awesome...but at $28, I'd rather get NARS orgasm.

Honey, I'm Home! 01/18/2008

I'm home in Sterling Heights. I really enjoy it here. It's relaxing. I went to the dermatologist today and then, Somerset Mall afterwards. They had some awesome sales going on. I got a pair of sunglasses, a belt, and a black sequenced clutch at Ann Taylor. I also got a bling bling over-the-shoulder bag at The Limited. (^V^) I couldn't hit up ALL the stores, cause I had to go home for dinner. I plan to attack it tomorrow as well, but I really need to stop spending money that I don't have!

For dinner, I had this humongous plate of Chinese vegetables. It was good, but I needed sugar. Natural sugar, that is! ;) I felt weak, cause I did not get enough sleep last night. I ate an odd looking pear that tasted like Asian pears and I also ate a persimmon. Both were delicious.

After that, I did my exercise. I was going to give myself a break today, but I stuck it out. Did my thang and it wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be. Yay! I'm always happy when I end up just toughing it out.

My plans for tomorrow is get my prescription from CVS, go to the bank, and go to the Japan Club performance in Novi. Looking forward to seeing them play and meeting new people (hopefully!).
